Approximately 75% of the total sales of HPE in the Netherlands comes through the Channel. As such the Channel Manager will be driving revenue through indirect sales channels, including large distributors, managed service providers, system integrators and value-added resellers. Further, the leader is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives and is also responsible for (new) business development through collaboration with existing and new alliances & parties in the market such as System Integrators. As part of our edge to cloud platform as a service strategy, the leader will drive the channel transformation.The leader wins, maintains, and expands relationships with the channel partners and represents the entire range of HPE’s products and services to assigned partners to develop best-in-class solutions for customers together with the team. She or he is responsible for end-to-end engagement with the partners including creating success plans, negotiating agreements, and developing and executing programs and projects.The leader coaches and manages a group of sales professionals and assesses employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence.Reporting to the Managing Director of The Netherlands, the Manager Channel must have a solid understanding of working with channel partners. Affinity with SMB or Service Providers/System Integrators is a plus.A strong, proven background in sales is a must and an ability to establish, build and foster senior executive management is critical. Key Responsibilities: Developing a clear, concise and actionable Channel Partner strategy plan, focused on distributors (linked to the future success of partner autonomy & automation), managed service providers system integrators and value-added resellers;Developing a sales strategy to deliver quarterly and annual sales targets;Formulating and executing strategic and tactical plans based on the strategy plan;Negotiate licensing & contracts and closing business;Enable our partner ecosystem and be the market leader as Total Partner Experience;Further expanding the development of the channel management strategy by translating HPE market opportunity and strategy into mutual partnership value propositions, continuous pragmatic market research, identification, evaluation and prioritization of partnership opportunities based on realistic, tactic, strategic and economic rationales;Communicates on different professional levels internally as well as externally;Build and maintains respectful partnerships with existing and new value propositionsRightly position HPE in the Netherlands IT channel marketDrive profitable growth within a competitive area, balancing growth and costStrengthen business management processes to improve execution; reduce costs and comply with HPE standards of business conduct and management policiesBuild and lead a high performance team with effective structure; professional people; competitive core competencesGrow adoption of Greenlake-based consumption model among channel partnersC-level partner netwerk preferred      
Requirements: Job Experiences / Assignments:Strong international (channel)-partner sales experience with demonstrated sales closing figures;5+ years of sales management experience in account planning, pipeline management, developing, implementing sales strategy and a track record in service sales management;Proven record of successful selling, business development, executive level influence, negotiation, and exceptional communication and presence;Understanding of the value proposition and competitive landscape of the HPE products and services;Has a background in Technology & Consumption based/as a Service environments;Has a good general knowledge and interest in the new technologies in the field of Data center technology landscapes.Has a proven ability to effectively form, lead and inspire highly talented virtual account teams, including partners, to enable maximum customer success and consequently amazing sales results;Strong acumen in IT and ability to articulate solution value proposition;Excellent networking skills;Self-motivated, initiating, driven by success, and delivers results;Exceptional communication, writing and presentation skills;Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targetsDemonstrated ability to work with partners and channels to balance indirect business with direct sales activities Behaviors and Competencies:   Demonstrate a passion for growthMature management style – can deal with pressure and complexity from multiple sources - exhibit “grace under fire”Ability to communicate to multiple cultures, in different locations, different business ecosystems and different backgroundsStrategic planning skillsWork in a hybrid modelAbility to influenceUnderstands (consumption-based) infrastructure and the business value that bringsFinancial and market-focused acumen to identify most viable growth opportunities neededAbility to inspire and motivate the organization to deliver on current commitmentsA deep understanding and curiosity for emerging needs and market trendsConstructing relationships and networks which are useful in achieving objectives; making effective use of informal networks to get things done.
